- Sermorelin
Sermorelin is a growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) that has been clinically proven to increase human growth hormone (HGH) levels. Sermorelin acts on the hypothalamus to release growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) that then stimulates the pituitary gland to make more HGH. This subsequently increases insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1), which in turn helps with fat breakdown, muscle growth, and the strengthening of bones. Since Sermorelin stimulates the pituitary gland to produce its own HGH for the body, it eliminates the risks commonly associated with synthetic HGH, and makes Sermorelin a more natural and safer alternative.

What are Personalized GLP-1 medications?
Personalized GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP + B12 are prescription medications that are prescribed for weight loss and Type 2 Diabetes. They belong to a class of drugs called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonists. They mimic the action of Personalized GLP-1, a hormone that stimulates the release of insulin and reduces the amount of glucose produced by the liver. This helps lower blood sugar levels in people with diabetes.
Personalized GLP-1 and Personalized GLP-1/GIP + B12 also reduce the speed at which food passes through the digestive system. They prolong digestion, helping to maintain your feeling of fullness for a longer period. Therefore, when you take Personalized GLP-1 and Personalized GLP-1/GIP + B12 injections, you feel fuller faster and are less likely to overeat.
This allows most people to lose up to 15% of their bodyweight or more over a number of months.
How to use Personalized GLP-1 medications?
Personalized GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP + B12 are injected below the skin once a week. Your doctor will prescribe a dose that is custom for you. Usually, you will start at a low dose and work your way up to a higher dose over a number of weeks.
Some tips on how to use:
Choose an injection site: Common injection sites include the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Rotate injection sites to prevent hardening of the skin.
Prepare to inject: Wash your hands thoroughly. Draw up your custom dose from the vial into the syringe.
Clean your injection site: Use an alcohol swab to clean the injection site.
Administer the injection: Inject the medication under the skin as directed by your doctor.
Needle safety: Once you inject, dispose of the used needle and syringe in an appropriate Sharps container.
What can I expect from Personalized GLP-1 therapy?
Personalized GLP-1 and GLP-1/GIP + B12 therapy typically takes about 2 weeks to start working. Some people begin to notice a reduction in hunger even sooner. Your doctor will gradually increase your dose over several weeks to help minimize side effects.
The speed of weight loss varies from person to person, but generally, progress is evaluated around week 12 after reaching the higher dose. Stick with it! The results can be truly transformative:
A study of 2,000 obese adults compared people using Personalized GLP-1 alongside a diet and exercise program with those making the same lifestyle changes without Personalized GLP-1. After 68 weeks, half of the participants using Personalized GLP-1 lost 15% of their body weight, and nearly a third lost 20%. Participants who followed only lifestyle changes lost just about 2.4% of their body weight.
Similar trials for Personalized GLP-1/GIP + B12 showed even greater results. In a study of over 600 obese adults, more than 80% of participants lost over 15% of their body weight using Personalized GLP-1/GIP + B12. Additionally, over 36% of participants lost more than 25% of their body weight when taking the higher dose.
What are side effects and precautions of Personalized GLP-1 therapy?
Like any medication, Personalized GLP-1 medications may cause side effects. It’s essential to be aware of potential side effects and promptly report any concerns to your doctor. Common side effects may include:
- Gastrointestinal Issues: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain are common side effects, especially when starting the medication. These symptoms often improve over time.
- Hypoglycemia: While Personalized GLP-1 medications themselves are less likely to cause low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) when used alone, combining it with other medications that lower blood sugar or insulin can increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
- Injection Site Reactions: Some individuals may experience redness, swelling, or itching at the injection site.
- Thyroid Tumors: In animal studies, Personalized GLP-1 medications have been associated with an increased risk of thyroid tumors. It’s essential to discuss any concerns with your healthcare provider, who can assess the risks and benefits for your specific situation.
- Pancreatitis: There have been reports of pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas) with Personalized GLP-1 receptor agonists. Inform your doctor if you experience severe abdominal pain.
- Allergic Reactions: While rare, allergic reactions such as rash, itching, or severe dizziness can occur. Seek medical attention if you experience these symptoms.
In clinical trials the most common adverse reactions, reported in ≥ 5% of patients treated with Personalized GLP-1 medications are:
nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain and constipation.
What if I miss a dose of my Personalized GLP-1 medication?
Since Personalized GLP-1 and Personalized GLP-1/GIP + B12 are injected just once a week, if you miss your injection day, take your injection as soon as you remember—as long as it’s within 5 days of the missed dose.
If more than 5 days have passed, skip the missed dose and take your next injection on your regularly scheduled day.
